Strange that, because my sharkscope search said 350K, but let's not worry about it too much.  There is really no point arguing, because any long term winner is a good player, be it 350 or 800K.  The over-promotion as world class is quite understandable as well, not sure Chinese market conditions appreciate modesty or understatement marketing.

When you plan to visit Macau, let me know.  I try and make the far east a couple of times a year.  We can meet up if the timing is right, and I can introduce you to some poker friends.  I am afraid my friends grind away in macau at 25/50 and 50/100 only.  No high-rollers, unless you have made it big by them....:)

OK, so maybe sharkscope is wrong (but I think you should still check it out).  Now 600K over 5 years is much better than 350K, and would make for a very comfortable life-style, but still way short of 'world-class genius' as he is (was?) being promoted.  I know of straight forward nit-tight grinders in macau playing live FR at 25/50 (HK$) making 50K US$ a year, and know quite a few 1/2 PLO 6-max players making more than 150K US$ a year (2 to 4-tabling).

So on the result, a good player, certainly, but not sure about world class. Plus the chart he posted on his blog implied that the 600K profir was made in one year.  Looks better for marketing, I suppose

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the guy, I dont even know him.  I teased him gently in the begining because I was surprised that a pro celeb would openly break a very public pledge for the not massive amount of US$ 10K.  But if I was surprised at that, I was totally amazed by his reply post basically telling everyone who expected him to keep his word to 'fuck off'.  Not someone that I would want to meet socially...:)

Yes, I hope you make it big too.  I could than dine for free for life with tales how I used to exchange messages with you before you made it big...:)  GL.

chaotic 2013-9-6 12:51: The links you provided show total earnings, not profit. I based my 350K profit on sharkscope searchs on the user-names you gave me. As I said, good solid results over 5 years, but not sure if it can be promoted as the best in China, or some kind of poker genius.

my search shows about 350K total profit since 2008 on FTP and Stars , not 600K, but nevertheless a good result.

5 years and 350K, an average of 70K per year, impressive, but hardly world-beating. 70K a year over 12 months is about 6K per month, or about 1500 per week, again, good, but the best in China on those figures?

I am a low level grinder at 6-max 1/2 to 3/6 PLO, and when including RB, I would be greatly disappointed if I don't hit these figures every month, even inculding those times that I run bad.
